Speed brands and quiet type

How NovaEdge, Oakley, and Pace+ keep typography calm while the image does the running.

Performance brands love loud product photography. The mistake is matching that energy with louder type. When the lens already screams orange, the wordmark should whisper.

We design type systems that lock early: one display cut for the name, one utilitarian cut for callouts, and rules for when technical annotations appear.

Quiet type makes the product feel expensive. It also keeps campaigns coherent when assets move from poster to pack to paid social.

Speed is in the image. Control is in the typography.
